How to Download Instagram Highlights

Navigate to the HighlightVisit the Instagram profile and tap on the Highlight circle you want to download.

Copy the Highlight LinkWhile viewing the Highlight, tap the three-dot menu and select 'Copy Link' to get the shareable URL.

Paste into ReelToolsOpen ReelTools and paste the Highlight link into the download tool (available soon).

Download All ClipsChoose to download individual clips or the entire Highlight collection as separate files to your device.

When will the Instagram Highlight downloader be available?

We're actively developing this feature. Join our waitlist to be notified as soon as it launches - we expect it to be available in the coming weeks.

Will I be able to download an entire Highlight at once?

Yes. The planned feature will support both downloading individual clips within a Highlight and batch-downloading the full collection as separate files.

Can I download Highlights from private accounts?

No. Like all ReelTools features, only publicly accessible content can be downloaded. Private account Highlights require follower access.

What format will Highlights be saved in?

Video Highlight clips will be saved as MP4 files and photo clips as JPG images, matching the original format of each Story within the Highlight.

Is there an alternative way to save Highlights right now?

If the Highlight contains individual Stories with shareable links, you can try downloading them one at a time using our Story downloader tool while we build the dedicated Highlight feature.

How do I save an Instagram Highlight before the account owner removes it?

Highlights can be changed or deleted at any time by the creator. Once our Highlight downloader launches, you'll be able to save them quickly—join the waitlist to be first to know.

Can I download all the clips in an Instagram Highlight at once?

Our upcoming Highlight tool will support batch downloading entire Highlight collections as separate files, so you won't need to save each clip individually.

Why can't I find a working Instagram Highlight downloader anywhere?

Highlights are technically more complex to access than regular posts or Reels. We're building a reliable solution—sign up for notifications and we'll alert you when it's ready.
